1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Lár Project website, Lár Framework, or any associated services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

Ownership: The Service, including but not limited to the "Lár" name, logos, designs, text, graphics, and the underlying source code of the website (excluding open-source components), is the exclusive property of The Lár Project Authors.

Trademarks: "Lár" and "Lár Engine" are trademarks of the Lár Project. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission, except as required to attribute the open-source software in accordance with its license.

Open Source Software: The Lár Framework code is made available under the Apache 2.0 License. Your use of the framework code is governed by that license. However, the branding, website design, and other non-code assets remain our proprietary intellectual property.

3. API Usage & BYOK Policy

Bring Your Own Key (BYOK): Our Architect service requires you to provide your own API Key (Google Gemini, OpenAI, etc.). You acknowledge that:

  • You are solely responsible for any costs, usage quotas, or rate limits associated with your API Key.
  • We do not store your API Key on our servers; it is processed ephemerally for the duration of your session.
  • You are responsible for compliance with the Terms of Service of the respective AI provider (e.g., Google or OpenAI).

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

4. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LAR PROJECT AUTHORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICE.

5. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
